Zakres obowiązków

  • Lead and manage the payroll team, overseeing all activities, including accurate and timely payroll processing, reporting, and compliance
  • Ensure efficient operation and optimization of Time Management and Payroll systems
  • Drive process and system improvements, leading payroll-related technical and functional projects
  • Serve as the first escalation point for operational and disciplinary matters
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent payroll in stakeholder discussions
  • Assess risks, ensure quality standards, and implement improvement measures
  • Advise managers and HR on payroll-related matters and ensure compliance with legal and internal regulations
  • Handle correspondence with employees, external bodies, and authorities
  • Support global HR and payroll initiatives while managing a complex payroll environment

Wymagania

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in German payroll and 2+ years in team leadership
  • Experience in project management, risk management, quality management & compliance
  • Strong knowledge of German tariff agreements, Time Management, and payroll systems; Workday experience preferred
  • Understanding of German tax, social security law, tariff structures, and local shop agreements
  • Ability to evaluate legal and internal processes with a detail-oriented, solution-driven approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working across departments and in diverse cultural environments
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
