Injection Molding Engineer


Your responsibilities

  • Active participation (cooperation) in the implementation of new projects from the specification stage of injection molds to approval and release for production;
  • Collaboration with the project team to meet customer quality requirements and deadlines for implementation and production launch;
  • Monitoring of injection process parameters to maintain the required quality of produced parts;
  • Analysis of process problems in the injection area and implementation of corrective actions;
  • Participation in the realization of projects for the purchase of new machines and equipment in the injection area;
  • Cooperation with the maintenance department regarding the maintenance of injection molding machines and molds;
  • Collaboration with the purchasing department on audits/support for suppliers of plastic components;
  • Implementation of new technological solutions aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing production costs, such as initiating optimization, development, and cost-saving projects;
  • Creation and updating of technological and production documentation;
  • Reporting production results and technological issues;
  • Monitoring and improving the performance of the injection molding area (OEE, scrap); risk analysis in the injection area.

Our requirements

  • Higher technical education, preferred fields: Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Automation, or related;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Technologist / Process Engineer in injection molding;
  • Knowledge of the construction and operation of injection molding machines will be an additional asset;
  • Knowledge of the construction of injection molds with a hot runner system and sequential injection;
  • Practical knowledge of LEAN tools, Six Sigma, PDCA, Kaizen, PFMEA, SPC;
  • Ability to analyze and optimize production processes;
  • Knowledge of English at a level enabling technical communication.
