General workers

Location: Sochaczew area (we meet in Warsaw)

Work conditions: working at the food warehouse! Temperature in the warehouse is -0°...+17° (have warm clothes with you)

Duties for women: 1. Sorting vegetables and fruits before freezing: - selecting spoiled goods – selecting foreign objects - packing finished products in boxes and bags.
2. Sorting and packaging vegetables and fruits after freezing.
Duties for men: - bringing and taking away raw materials to the conveyor with forklifts (rollers) – loading the bunker that feeds raw materials to the conveyor - doing loading work - helping women.

Work schedule: -Mon-Fri day shifts 8-10 hours (during the period of low volume of work)
-Mon-Fri-Sat 8-10 hours day shifts, maybe night shifts (during the period of high volume of work)
The schedule is set by the manager on site. In the packaging and sorting processes, women work in turns, the line is set by the foreman. Women sort the goods on the conveyor belt. The belt feeds fresh vegetables and fruits into the cold storage rooms for deep freezing. Frozen goods are returned to the workshop for repeated inspection and packaging. Men load the goods into the hopper for feeding onto the conveyor belt. Men are package containers over 5 kg!

Food: Lunch breaks are two times for 15 minutes. Lunch is free. Breaks for no more than three times. Breaks are not deducted from the total working time.

Payment is hourly: PLN 30,50 gross per hour.

There are bonuses, the amount depends on the worked hours (from 200 hours/month and above).

Accommodation: Housing is free. 2-6 people in a room. For a couple, a separate room in the house.

Work on a contract basis. Salary payment, to the bank account, once a month. From the 10th to the 20th of the month following the month worked!
