Junior Purchasing Specialist

Your responsibilities

• Support in the execution of orders from suppliers: Assisting in communication with suppliers, monitoring delivery timelines, and ensuring the quality of raw materials under supervision.
• Assisting in price monitoring: Supporting the team in tracking purchase prices for materials and components, with guidance from senior specialists.
• Helping maintain optimal warehouse stock levels: Supporting inventory management tasks, such as monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
• Participation in basic complaint processes: Assisting in handling delivery-related complaints, following established procedures.
• Supporting purchasing plans: Helping in the preparation of purchasing plans and tracking their implementation under supervision.
• Collaboration with the Quality Department: Assisting in the input control of raw materials and components, working closely with the Quality team.
• Supporting the search for new suppliers: Assisting in identifying potential suppliers of raw materials and components, under guidance.
• Helping with requests for quotation (RFQs): Supporting the creation and basic analysis of RFQs as directed by senior team members.
• Assisting in delivery planning: Helping with the coordination of deliveries in terms of timing and quantity, under supervision.

Our requirements

• Communicative knowledge of English: A necessary condition for basic communication with suppliers and internal teams.
• 0-1 year of experience in a similar role
• Basic analytical thinking: Ability to understand and analyze simple data with guidance.
• Good organizational skills: Ability to manage tasks efficiently with support from the team.
• Basic negotiation skills: Willingness to learn and assist in negotiations under supervision.
• Ability to cooperate with other departments: Supporting order coordination and teamwork with guidance.
• Good computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plus but not required.
• Communication skills and a positive attitude: Ability to work well in a team and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Interest in the plastics market: Knowledge or curiosity about the plastics industry is an additional advantage.
