Zakres obowiązków

  • Oversee global purchasing tasks for both potential (pursuit) and newly awarded (up to 90 days post-SOP) projects.
  • Assist Cost Estimators during the pursuit phase by providing supplier strategies from Commodity teams.
  • Handle end-to-end sourcing of components: send RFQs, review offers, lead feasibility checks, negotiate prices, prep sourcing docs, present to the board, and initiate supplier agreements.
  • Manage and track all sourcing steps to align with program timelines and targets.
  • Lead cross-functional team meetings (Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, Sales, Program Management, Suppliers) to quickly resolve launch-related issues.
  • Act as the main Purchasing contact during weekly team meetings, reviews, and key program updates.
  • Suggest new suppliers and help gather necessary documentation for Commodity team support.

Wymagania

  • At least 3 years of experience in purchasing within an international manufacturing environment - ideally in automotive or a similar sector
  • Familiarity with program management tasks in purchasing
  • Solid understanding of procurement processes, tools, and cost analysis
  • University degree
  • Strong command of English (B2/C1) - used daily in the role
  • Hands-on experience with project management methods
  • Confident negotiator with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
  • Excellent at building relationships and communicating clearly
  • Well-organized, detail-focused, and reliable
  • Experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, with good analytical skills
