Zakres obowiązków

Oversees the employees within the finance team and ensures smooth execution of the department's daily functions.
Coordinates the month-end closing activities, ensuring all timelines and deadlines are strictly followed.
Prepares monthly financial reports in line with both corporate accounting standards and Czech, local regulatory requirements (GAAP, tax laws, etc.).
Supports the statutory audit process and addresses all requirements related to the Group Audit.
Compiles tax-related documentation including monthly VAT filings, CIT provisions, and collaborates with external consultants on the preparation of the annual tax return.
Monitors all balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, prepares related accounting entries with the team, and conducts relevant financial analyses.
Reviews and investigates key variances between actual results, budgets, and prior periods to identify significant discrepancies.
Ensures financial reporting is accurate and timely.
Maintains adherence to corporate accounting guidelines and reinforces strong internal control procedures.

Good knowledge of local legal, local tax regulations, Czech GAAP - (IFRS will be a plus)
Master or Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or similar
Min. 5 years of experience on a Chief Accountant position
Fluent in Czech and English
Experience in managing a team
Advanced knowledge in Excel
Knowledge POC revenue recognition will be a plus
