Zakres obowiązków

  • Monitor changes in tax and accounting regulations and their implementation in the company, and ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
  • Manage all accounting processes by organizing and keeping the company's accounting records
  • Create accounting policy and its development as well as conduct credit control and tax policy of the company
  • Supervise daily accounting operations, in particular bookkeeping, control of payments and invoices, and settlement of costs and revenues
  • Prepare reports for the Group, including monthly results, budgeting, forecasting, budgetary control and variance analysis
  • Keep close communication with external auditors and tax advisors, including preparation of materials and participation in a financial audit
  • Advise the management board on financial and accounting issues and participate in strategic planning and decisions regarding investments and company development
  • Manage the internal accounting and payroll team
  • Identify the areas for improvement and implement more effective accounting procedures, including the use of technology to automate processes.

Wymagania

  • Have a Master's degree in the field of finance, accounting or economics
  • Have at least 5 years of experience as a chief accountant. Experience in the energy sector will be an additional advantage
  • Have proven track record in internal department building "from scratch" and with ERP software implementation (MS Dynamics preferred)
  • Are well aware of tax and accounting regulations, and familiar with international accounting standards (IFRS)
  • Have knowledge across audit processes and preparation of audit documentation
  • Are proficient user of accounting software Microsoft Dynamics
  • Exhibit excellent leadership, team management and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage external relations
  • Have strong organizational skills, ease of adapting to changes and ability to continuously improve and develop professionally
  • Are fluent in English language.
